Takara Bio has recently released their Capturem Extracellular Vesicle Isolation Kit and we are proud to be a part of this story. We have tried these column in house to isolate EVs from plasma, urine, saliva and conditioned cell culture media. The protocol is very straight forward, fast and easy. No prolonged high speed centrifugations, incubations or fractions collection involved. Just as with any other method, protocol should be optimized for each specific case for optimal results.
Exciting to see another method of exosome isolation that aims to facilitate the research in this fast developing field.
